Developing a lifelong connection to nature

Children at Play and Learn explore and play in their
outdoor classroom, allowing them to experience and
connect to the natural world around them. Our outdoor
space enables children first-hand experiences of nature
and developing knowledge of how to care for it. With
opportunities to interact with and get comfortable with
nature, learning to coexist with the nature around them
through getting their hands dirty and gently holding
insects.

nature there will be everywhere else in the future.”

Being part of the nature park pilot project has not only
impacted the environment, but it has also enriched the
children experiences.
Children grow their own fruit and vegetables, go pond
dipping, and enjoy building dens in our Forest garden.
